How to input Japanese sentence

with 'Henkan" tapbar modules or 'nJIM Palette'
in 'Notes' on your Newton.
Before reading this page...
- You must install required packages and set up 'nJIM' environment. Minimum
files are the following packages.
- And you must know Japanese ROMAN notation,
Japanese grammar, and so on.
- 1.
This sentence means that 'I am studying Japanese'. So you must know
how to write in Japanese ROMAN notation. If you don't know this, please
study Japanese grammar first.
- 2.
- Please input "Watasi ha nihogngo wo benkyou siteimasu." in
'Notes' on your Newton.
- 3.
- Select all ROMAN Japanese string with Caret.
- 4.
- Tap 'Hiragana' button
. 'Watashi ......' string is converted to
Japanese hiragana string.
- If you use only Hiragana or Katakana, not Kanji, now you can use those
on your Newton.
- If you want to use Kanji, please read the following columns.
- 5.
- Select
string with Caret. and Tap 'Kanji' button
.
After that you will see the Kanji word popup menu.
- 6.
- Tap
string in popup menu.
string is converted to
string.
- 7.
- Select
string with Caret. and Tap 'Kanji' button
.
And select Japanese string.
- 8.
- Select
string with Caret. and Tap 'Kanji' button
.
And select Japanese string.
- 9.
- Conversion end. Now you have inputted Japanese.
