'nJIM Code Keyboard' is keyboard type interface that inputting Unicode, JIS, Shift-JIS, EUC, Kuten Code directly.

All Newton models that are running Newton OS 2.0 or laster. Newton OS 1.x is not supported.

• Newton MessagePad 120 (NOS 2.0)
• Newton MessagePad 130 (NOS 2.0)
• MessagePad 2000 (NOS 2.1)
• eMate 300 (NOS 2.1)

• nJIM Code (nJIM Code.pkg)

  Inputting Japanese code keyboard.

• Install the following files.
  • nJIM Code.pkg
• Please install nJIM Engine, Japanese font for using this.
• Setting Popup Menu Font to display Kanji with Tapbar preference.
• If you have not registered this software, you can not use full function.

• How to input Japanese
  • Select input code type and font, and type Japanese code.
  • If inputting code is correct code, display Japanese character in Text button window. and Tap button Japanese character.
  • I have checked inputting Japanese in 'Newton Works' on eMate/MP2000, but I don't know data safety. So don't input Japanese in 'Newton Works'.

Try Out Limitation

If you want to try out above nJIM packages, please download each packages. There is some functional limitation.

1).About-view window is opened every execution.

2).Preference setting parameters are disabled except font setting.

3).Code Keyboards is enabled only Unicode and JIS code.
